Ford News For Seattle, Tacoma, and Bellevue Washington
True performance has come to Seattle - with Ford unveiling its 2019 Mustang Bullitt. This pony-car (which has been making the circuit rounds, revving from New York to L.A. and everywhere in between) promises class-defining power, delivering a revised engine suite that will ensure a top speed of 163 MPH.

Prepare for a beastly highway experience.

As US News explains, the 2019 Mustang Bullitt will soon roar into Seattle - and it’s bringing unprecedented performance with it. A sport-tuned 5.0L V8 engine rumbles beneath the hood, yielding 475 HP and 420 lb.-ft of torque. Chassis braces anchor the frame, allowing the car to smoothly adapt to changing roadways; while heavy-duty springs define the suspension, creating a balanced ride through two-variable responses and leaf-coil designs. A six-speed manual transmission ensures peerless control, with drivers able to smoothly shift between gears.

This is a remarkable machine - and the available MagneRide system only further enhances it. Ford offers an advanced damper unit that automatically adjusts itself, depending on performance needs (it assess current speed, traction, and stability to re-tune its configuration with each mile). This allows the Bullitt to glide down the pavement.

There is only room for one coupe atop the Seattle sales peak - and the 2018 Mustang has secured a snug position there, forcing its competition to huddle in the shadows below. Ford’s signature fastback reigns among the North American market, delivering staggering four-cylinder capability; and no other platform can hope to unseat it.

The 2018 Camaro (briefly) tried… and failed.

According to Digital Trends, Chevrolet sought to steal the sales crown from Ford - introducing the Seattle market to its 2018 Camaro. Anchored by a 2.0L four-cylinder, this platform promised 275 HP (at 5,600 RPM) and 295 lb.-ft of torque (at 3,000 RPM). It combined turbocharged performance with a six-speed manual transmission, and its rear-wheel-drive ensured smooth cornering through seamless traction distribution. On paper it seemed a near identical match to the Mustang.

On the highway, however, it couldn’t measure up.

Digital Trends explains that the 2018 Mustang - despite also having a six-speed manual transmission and a rear-wheel-drive - delivers considerably more power than its Camaro cousin. Beneath its hood rests a 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder. This generates 310 HP (at 5,500 RPM) and 350 lb.-ft of torque (at 3,000 RPM). This marks a more than 10% improvement over Chevy and ensures a continued first-place position in Seattle.

In 2009 Ford teased the sport-coupe world with its Iacocca Mustang - a limited-edition pony that promised V8 power. This 4.6L beast celebrated more than four decades of performance, delivering fastback style and 400 HP. It was striking; it was bold; it was… produced in a miniscule 45-car run.

Ford had no intention of launching this vehicle on a mass-scale, instead choosing to carefully craft a few dozen ponies. This caused a surge of interest in the Iacocca Mustang, with Seattle drivers trying to snag them from the assembly line; but no one could.

That is about to change.

According to Motor Authority, the 2009 Iacocca Mustang will return to the market - with noted auction house, Barrett-Jackson, offering the No. 20 model! On April 12th the phone lines will be opened and bidding will commence, with this silver-clad pony certain to generate massive attention. Its odometer sits at a mere 400 miles, with its five-speed manual transmission barely used; and its supercharged engine should roar down every highway.

Interested? We are! The 2009 Iacocca Mustang is a rare pony… and we can’t wait to see what kind of price it fetches this spring.

Spring has come early to Seattle - with spy-photos of the 2019 Focus revealed! This sedan (which has, until now, been cloaked in secrecy) was just spotted in Hungary; and drivers are already clamoring for more information.

Allow us to provide some.

According to Motor Authority, the 2019 Focus was recently glimpsed during an official Ford photo-shoot. The car - which has never been seen without layers of camouflage - was in full view of a passing drone, and images have revealed a striking new design. Black trim lines the wheel-lips and grille, while boomerang-style headlamps frame the front. LED lights are visible on the rear, flanking the body-colored bumper; five-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels offer a splash of metallic shine; and the arched roof seems to feature revised C-Pillars, with critics guessing a height increase of up to two inches.

These elements combine for a bold new Focus - with the 2019 platform certain to impress Seattle drivers. While no official release date has been given, we anticipate that this platform will cross the pond by early fall, leaving only a few months to wait.

It’s the most unmistakable sound - the roar of a V8. Through the city streets it echoes, warning the idle to slide out of the way and urging the speed-demons to follow. It transforms Seattle into a pony mecca.

Soon it will do the same for all of Washington.

Ford has just announced a partnership with aftermarket specialist ROUSH to enhance its 2018 Mustang. The two brands will work tirelessly to improve the platform’s 5.0L Coyote V8 through sport-tuned handling and ECU remapping (which will calibrate every rev for the track, increasing the redline by 15%); and they’ll bring deep-throated rumbles to every mile, pairing the powertrain with an exclusive Active Exhaust system. This utilizes high-flow air intake valves and quad T-304 tips to reduce back pressure and heighten every decibel, resulting in that signature pony stomp.

Check it out!

ROUSH has long since served as an ally for Ford, helping the Big Blue Oval decimate the competition through pure V8 performance. Now it seeks to continue that tradition with the 2018 Mustang, fusing this platform with 460 HP! The entire chassis has been tailored for speed - from its adjustable three-way coil-over suspension to its Continental Extreme Contact tires (both of which promote a 1.07 lateral-G over the skid-pad). This is the ultimate pony.

Toward the horizon you turn - squinting at the sun, trying to decipher every burst of dust. With each moment your anticipation grows, and your heart pounds with the ferocity of a V6.

The Sound Ford shares your excitement. After all, the 2020 Explorer ST is on its way!

According to AutoBlog, Ford will soon enter production on its 2020 Explorer ST. This all-terrain platform should dominate the backroads and the charts alike - connecting Seattle drivers to extraordinary power.

Open the hood and discover a 3.3L V6, which will generate up to 400 HP (torque numbers have not yet been confirmed but critics anticipate at least 400 lb.-ft). A 10-speed automatic transmission will anchor the chassis, delivering smooth gear changes and SelectShift technology; while the new RWD will bolster performance, allowing the platform to more efficiently navigate Washington trails. It will combine a locking rear differential with AdvanceTrac stability control to pummel the pavement, with gyroscopic sensors automatically sensing the need for improved traction distribution among the wheels.

The 2020 Explorer ST will prove a beast on the road - and we expect drivers to seek out its twin-turbo capabilities. To learn more about this platform (or to request a ride in one of our current Ford SUVs) contact our team today.

It’s an impossible dream - with the 1968 Mustang hidden far from your garage, tucked away in glass showcases and runway lanes. You’ll never be able to find (or afford) one. Instead you resign yourself to fantasy, conjuring downtown adventures in your head. This is, you know, the only way to experience a pony ride.

LEGO disagrees.

According to Motor Trend, the world’s foremost toy company is seeking to provide drivers with the pony power they crave - by launching a 1968 Mustang set! This 183-piece kit will allow Ford fans to create the car of their dreams (without emptying their bank accounts). Assemble a hunter-green beast, with signature gold racing stripes and custom Bullitt stickers. A miniature racer will fit snugly into the cabin, while a timing board will showcase the fastback speed; and, of course, a removable windshield will transform this platform from coupe to convertible with ease.

The 1968 Mustang LEGO kit will arrive in Seattle in March (it will be priced at $14.99). Once you’ve completed it, be sure to send our team a photo or two - and don’t forget to visit our dealership to take a spin in one of our current pony-cars.
Adventure calls - but your timid sedan can’t answer. The backroads prove too much for its weak engine and tired treads. It can’t wander past the suburban corners, and you find yourself confined to dull miles and slow hours.

With the unveiling of the 2018 Expedition, Ford will change this - connecting you to its exclusive off-road package.

As a recent press release explains, the new Expedition delivers all-terrain fun to drivers - with its off-road package allowing them to seek out every mile. 18-inch magnetic-painted aluminum wheels crush the pavement, while seven skid plates line the undercarriage (protecting the fuel tank, transfer case, and steering gear). An elevated chin spoiler allows for seamless incline racing; stiffly tuned shocks absorb the impact of every rut; and an electronic limited-slip rear differential promises improved traction, utilizing a 3.73:1 ratio to automatically distribute power between the wheels and enhance balance.

For further convenience, the Expedition off-road package also boasts new rubber floor liners - which can be quickly removed from the interior and washed with a hose. This allows drivers to easily strip away the layers of grime, helping to better maintain the integrity of the leather seats and soft-touch materials.

With the introduction of the off-road package, Ford provides a new way to discover Washington. To learn more about this and other Expedition options contact us today.

The miles are ever-changing. Why then would you rely on a single drive-mode to conquer them? This question has dogged Ford’s every design decision for many months - and it’s led to the creation of a new kind of performance experience. Prepare for the 2018 Focus RS!

As US News explains, the 2018 Focus RS will prove itself worthy of every road - transitioning from the track to the suburbs with ease. Anchoring its turbocharged 2.3L inline-four engine is a drive-mode suite, which delivers condition-specific handling with the press of a button. With every changing incline discover:

Normal: this aligns the throttle for everyday driving, ensuring smooth bursts of speed and engaging the AdvanceTrac stability system to promote a balanced ride.

Sport: this provides a turbocharged experience, with the dampers stiffening by 40% to increase steering responses. The AWD is also activated to provide greater traction around corners.

Track: this offers a wide-open throttle, allowing the car to achieve improved air intake levels. Engine performance is maximized and a 0 to 60 time of 4.6 seconds is achieved.

Drift: this taps into the torque distribution, sending 70% of the total RPM to the rear wheels to allow for seamless spinning.

With each drive-mode, the 2018 Focus RS connects drivers to custom power - with its tires gliding precisely across the pavement. To learn more about this system contact us today.
A behemoth stands before you - an eight-passenger platform with massive fenders and looming C-Pillars. You gape, stunned by the sheer… size of it all. How can such a beast exist on the highway? No powertrain seems strong enough to sustain it.

Ford disagrees.

With the release of the 2018 Expedition, the Big Blue Oval delivers staggering performance, defying all driver doubts with its signature V6. Beneath the hood sits a 3.5L engine, capable of wielding a hefty 400 HP and 480 lb.-ft of torque. Turbocharged technology amplifies performance, while a 10-speed automatic transmission proves crisp (it reduces gear strain through its SelectShift functionality, which provides a seamless ratio-to-ratio transition). Custom drive modes - including Sport and Eco - control traction demands, smoothly distributing power with the turn of a rotary dial; while the electric-assisted steering further improves responses through its precise column design.

When these elements combine, they allow the 2018 Expedition to sail down the road - delivering a 0 to 60 time of less than six seconds.

We’ll spare you a moment to pick your jaw up from the floor.
