Are you a dog lover? If the answer is a resounding yes, then we have some excellent news for you: Ford is working on making driving with our furry friends as safe as possible. The company did this in response to a survey they commissioned which showed that a whopping 32 percent of pet owners don't secure their pets in the car - even though it’s a legal requirement in many countries. Ford engineer, Rene Berns, and his three-year-old Australian Shepherd conducted tests to make sure the Focus wagon was suitable by ensuring that the biggest crate could fit inside of the rear hatch through the maximization of the total volume. Berns did this by compressing the foam layer of the roof liner, altering the length of the hinge screws, and reshaping the opening.
Unfortunately, this model is only available in Europe, but if you’re looking for a good car for you and your animal companion then you should check out the 2017 Ford Focus Titanium. It’s perfect because it has 23.8 cubic feet of cargo space when the car is full, but you can also tumble down the seats to access up to 44.8 ft³ of room!

It's the strongest on the market with more than 700 horsepower! The Mustang was sold on January 18, 2019, to the top bidder at the B-J Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale at a charity event where all the proceeds went to JDRF: the leading global organization for researching the cure for type 1 diabetes in children. Have you heard the news? The Speciality Equipment Market Association has released the 2019 Ford Ranger's computer-aided design and 3D scan data. This means that the automotive aftermarket (which is responsible for the manufacturing, remanufacturing, distribution, and installation of all vehicle parts and accessories after the sale by the original producer) can begin to create the various custom apparatus'. The useful information can be accessed through SEMA’s Tech Transfer program. Initially, the only material attainable at this time will be the 4×4 and 4×2 suspension, brakes, exhaust, frame, engine, air intake, front and back fascias, and the cargo bed.
For those of us not in the business, we can get our hands on an actual Ranger XLT. It’s a mid-size pickup that’s a cut above the rest - literally and figuratively. The truck sits tall and mighty with a wheelbase of 126.8 inches and all-season 17-inch tires. Further, it also comes standard with such perks as privacy glass and a rear defogger. Have you heard the news? The 2019 Ford Ranger XLT isn’t just tough - it’s undergone rigorous tests like never before to earn the label as the strongest vehicle on the market.
The brand’s engineers set up a formidable, multi-terrain course to evaluate the truck’s capabilities and, naturally, it passed with flying colors. The roads were so difficult that (like something from a sci-fi movie) they had to use robots to drive. Further, the durability trials consisted of towing heavy loads up steep grades at 100° Fahrenheit at its maximum capacity of 7,500 pounds for hours. Additionally, they spent days in the lab shaking the pick-up in order to find and reduce unwanted noise and to tune the suspension.
The results show that the Ranger is the best and will out-last and out-perform its competition. This is also partly due to its much coveted turbocharged 2.3L four-cylinder a motor that packs a lot of muscle. It generates a hearty 270 HP at 5,500 revs per minute and 310 ft.-lb. of torque at 3,000 RPM.

Fuel prices can put a strain on consumers wallet, and it doesn’t look like it will get any better in the near future. For this reason, people are looking for alternatives and the 2020 Ford Explorer Hybrid is the best option as it's reported to get an impressive 500 miles of range between hitting gas stations! However, this isn't the only thing that makes it exceptional, let's dive into the details.
The SUV was officially unveiled on January 14th at the 2019 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The vehicle cut a stunning image and, besides, left bystanders in awe due to the superb 3.3-liter V6 engine with a built-in electric motor under the hood. It comes equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and the battery has been described as “a specially designed liquid-cooled lithium-ion.” The capacity of the unit is unknown but it’s positioned in the chassis in order to preserve space for cargo and passengers.
Ford Authority has suggested that, at first, the Explorer Hybrid will only be available in the Limited trim. This model has a myriad of standard features to make the car a luxurious masterpiece. It has Active Noise Cancellation to ensure the cabin is insulated against any unwanted sounds. You also get heated seats that are upholstered in lush, premium leather.

Have you heard the news? Ford retains its title as the king of muscle cars with a total of 75,842 Mustangs being purchased in 2018. It’s an impressive number that creates a wide girth between the company and its main competitors. In fact, the annual figures for the legendary automobile show that it easily outsold both the Dodge Challenger and Chevrolet’s Camaro!
It’s clear to see why the masses prefer this type of vehicle when you sit inside and drive the 2019 Mustang GT. The base model seats are upholstered in a gorgeous cloth that can be positioned in 4 ways - and if you splurge on the premium option then you'll get luxuriously leather-covered chairs with plush padding that are power-adjustable. Ford is tallying up their annual numbers, and it’s clear to see that the company is the number one choice for SUVs with a total of almost 800,000 being sold this year - a record figure! It's believed that this is partly due to the popularity of the new EcoSport and Expedition. Let’s take a look at why the latter has had so much success since its introduction.
The fully-loaded 2019 Ford Expedition Max Platinum comes equipped with an EcoBoost V6 which is anything but humble. The 3.5-liter, twin-turbocharged motor cranks out a hearty 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque - that kind of ferocity teamed with a 10-speed transmission makes an unbeatable combo.
This supersized vehicle earns its “max” prefix. It’s a monster with an exterior length of 221.9 inches and a height of 76.4 inches. What’s more, you’ll have all the space you want for luggage or groceries because it has an enormous cargo area of 34.3 cubic feet, and you can tumble-down the last row to increase storage capacity to 73.3 cubic feet. Despite its size, you still get an impressive fuel economy of 16 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway (18 combined).
