It’s been 22 years since Ford and the Dallas Cowboys partnered up to offer a limited edition Cowboys Ford truck. Both companies thought that it was about time they did it again – especially with the opening of the new Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. This high-tech training facility is the new corporate headquarters for the Cowboys.
Texas is the nation’s largest truck market and it’s no surprise that the best selling truck in Texas is the Ford F-Series. So the Dallas Cowboys Ford F-150 was a no-brainer, with only 400 trucks available exclusively through Texas Ford dealers.
This special model starts with Chrome Package painted in the legendary silver from Dallas Cowboys helmets and includes all standard features of the F-150 XLT. In addition, this limited-edition truck series has:
Rocker panels striped blue-white-blue like the team’s helmet
The Cowboys star logo molded into the heavy-duty cargo bed mat
Cowboys star badging on the front doors and tailgate
Cowboys star center caps on the 20-inch chrome wheels
The Cowboys logo stitched into the floor mats
The Cowboys wordmark laser-etched into the front door chrome foot plates
And interior badge designating which number each truck is in the series of 400, and autographed by Jerry Jones (owner of the Dallas Cowboys)
“Everyone in our organization is excited about the new Dallas Cowboys edition F-150,” Jones says, according to Ford Media Center. “I think you will agree it is the ultimate truck for the ultimate Cowboys fan.”
