The history of automotives is woven with partnerships - intertwining threads that create a high-performance tapestry. The decades have yielded alliances both expected and strange. Some (like the implosive joining of Citren and Maserati) fizzled to nothing more the footnotes; while others (like the long-lasting union of Honda and McLaren) have forged years of success.
None have made as strong of an impression, however, as the one between Ford and ROUSH. These brands have come together often, building supercharged pony-cars, pick-ups, and more. It’s only fitting, therefore, that they celebrate their partnership with a special gift.
In honor of Ford’s friendship with ROUSH, it’s gifting the company with one of the first 2017 GTs in the world! This platform - of which only 1,000 will be produced - is the ultimate performer, boasting a 5.0L Coyote V8 engine that yields 435 HP and 400 lb.-ft of torque. Anchored by twin-turbo capabilities, it can achieve a top-speed of 216 MPH; and its active-adjustable suspension ensures peerless cornering on every track.
This (when combined with the hydraulic steering rack) makes the 2017 Mustang GT a perfect present for ROUSH - and a much-craved option for Seattle drivers. No official release date has been given for this platform, but we hope to secure it for our lot when it rolls off the assembly line.
