According to USA Today, Ford has (yet again) delivered best-in-class performance on the charts. Despite competition from its main rivals - the Chevrolet Camaro and the Dodge Challenger Hellcat - the Big Blue Oval has managed to sell an astounding 74,152 Mustangs for 2017. This number places it well above the rest of the sports market and, as critics note, it doesn’t include even December’s total units. The chance to break 80,000 is quite strong.
This would prove a boon for Ford - showcasing the enduring power of its Mustang. Despite having decades beneath the hood, this pony-car has remained relevant through its staggering V8 engine and high-speed potential (it roars from 0 to 60 in less than four seconds). It’s no wonder that its rivals fall short, with Chevrolet managing only 64,138 units and Dodge yielding 60,029.
The Mustang is revving toward a record-year in Seattle - and we anticipate that this trend will continue in 2018.
