It’s the end of an era. Soon Ford will discontinue its Fiesta fleet - with these sub-compacts heading to Europe, forced off of North American production lines. The final generation is poised to make its debut this fall, and critics are already protesting the loss of four-cylinder power.
They’re not, however, protesting the addition of the ST-Line.
As Car and Driver explains, the 2019 Fiesta will add a new model to its fleet - the ST-Line. This hot-hatch will serve as a spirited addition to every commute, with its 1.6L engine delivering 197 HP and 201 lb.-ft of torque. Most impressive, however, will be the suite of style upgrades this platform offers, with Ford fusing both the fascia and cabin with dynamic design.
The ST-Line stands on 16-inch alloy wheels. A rear spoiler delivers a sporty effect, while a cascading chrome grille defines the front. Wide fender flares are accentuated by custom badges; and dual exhaust tips rest beneath the LED signature tail-lights, perfectly complementing the five-door profile.
Inside this Fiesta discover embroidered cloth seating. A leather-wrapped steering wheel adds a sleek touch, while contrast stitching anchors the floor mats and headliners. Metallic trim creates a bold contrast on the instrument panels, highlighting their retro-inspired gauges.
The 2019 ST-Line will bring striking design to Sumner - and it will be a fitting conclusion to the Fiesta fleet.
