Feel like taking a quick trip down memory lane? Autoguide.com's recently released list, "Top 10 Most Intriguing and WTF Cars Up For Auction Soon," is a time capsule that whisks car enthusiasts back a few decades. All of the vehicles listed will be on display and auctioned off from January 14-21 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. Check out another vintage Ford vehicle in the video below:
In particular, two Ford cars mentioned in the list are both from the year 1971 - the same year Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" was released. Although both vehicles are better equipped for highways than stairways, one can argue that they're nothing short of divine. The first vehicle, a 1971 Ford Torino custom display car, is sure to elicit its fair share of double-takes. As stated by Jodi Lai on Autoguide.com, "The listing says the car has a 3D-printed “liquid metal” finish and is based on a 1971 Ford Torino." The Torino made its grand and unconventional entrance at the 2014 New York Auto Show.
Following suit, the 1971 Ford Bronco also makes Autoguide.com's list. The vintage SUV is slated to become a coveted collectible, and experts predict its value to go through the roof soon enough. Lai states, "This first-generation Bronco could be a great investment because it’s so clean." Also adding to its value is a V8 engine, custom liftkit and power steering, and a Grabber Blue paint job.
