2017 Ford F-150 RaptorSchool's in session, and there's one class you won't want to miss. Ford and Ford Performance recently announced that complimentary, all-new Ford Raptor Assault instruction will be provided to initial buyers of the 2017 F-150 Raptor. The Utah-based program is a unique chance for Raptor drivers to learn about the truck's defining features in greater detail, providing training from Ford Performance Racing School instructors that goes beyond books and off roads.

Ford's new initiative joins the GT350 Track Attack, ST Octane Academy and RS Adrenaline Academy enthusiast programs already provided by the school. It also builds upon off-road courses previously used for older-generation Raptor owners. The program in question will fully immerse drivers in the Raptor's performance- and handling-related attributes, as well as dig into its impressive ability to traverse over virtually any type of terrain. Participants can expect plenty of Baja runs, side-hilling, rock crawling and more, which all serve to highlight the Raptor's range of driving modes.

“The all-new F-150 Raptor was designed to be the ultimate, no-compromise off-road pickup with its cutting edge internal bypass suspension, six-mode Terrain Management System™ and 450 horsepower EcoBoost engine with massive amounts of torque,” Henry Ford III, Ford Performance's marketing manager, said. “The off-road terrain near Ford Performance Racing School offers a diversity of challenges and is perfectly suited to showcase the high-performance capabilities of Raptor. The Ford Performance owner programs that have come before are a strong indication that this experience will be outstanding – a big hit with Raptor owners."
