Rolling out of the shadows for its grand debut, the all-new Ford Mustang convertible recently kicked off its nationwide tour. America's best-selling sports car will be traveling across state lines and visiting over 50 regional auto shows, building anticipation to precede its appearance on lots in North America in fall 2017.
The new Mustang is Ford's most advanced to date. The best-selling sports coupe shines with its array of upgrades, which includes new design and technology to offer more enhanced driver customization. Owners will have the options of three new paint colors, a dozen distinguishable wheel choices and even a unique digital instrument cluster. Overall vehicle performance gets a facelift as well, thanks to MagneRide™ suspension technology and more powerful engines.
A new front and rear design also give the Mustang an athletic aesthetic and improved aerodynamics, while a 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine and 5.0-liter V8 upgrade couple up with a newly available 10-speed automatic transmission to give the sports car greater performance. Additionally, MagneRide suspension ensures easier handling and an optional active valve exhaust offers total auditory control for the leaner, sleeker Mustang. Topping off the list of notable features is the suite of advanced technology, which includes a new 12-inch, all-digital instrument cluster and Pre-Collision driver-assist functions.
