The Ford Fusion has been making waves ever since it hit the auto scene. The 2011 model, in particular, has a lot to offer in terms of power, technology, and safety.
The 2011 Fusion comes with six speaker audio, Sirius satellite radio, six-way power driver seat, and 17-inch steel wheels. Passengers are also treated to a power moonroof and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
With Ford’s SYNC voice-activated pairing system, drivers can make hands-free calls, track storms, and even find the starting time for the next superhero movie. For an added bit of fun, drivers can use the optional ambient lighting system to subtly illuminate cupholders and footwells in the color of their choosing.
You can feel secure in the Fusion as it’s equipped with all the necessary airbags and an amazing warning system that unlocks all the doors, sounds the horn, and lights the emergency flashers in the case of an accident. It received a 5/5 star rating in every crash test category by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
An Auto Blog review describes the Fusion’s handling as alert, agile, and exemplary. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine comes with an EPA rating of 23 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. It packs 175 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque.
